Ovis for iPhone and Android

Ovis cannot reach my PC

• Check that the PC is on and herdr web UI is running: open its address in the PC's browser.
• Check that your phone has a route to the PC, for example that Tailscale is connected on both, or that both are on the same Wi-Fi.
• Open the same address in your phone's browser. If it does not load there either, the problem is the route, not the app.
• An https address (tailscale serve on the PC) opens faster in the app than a plain http one.

It asks for a pairing code

A phone that is not signed in to your Tailscale account as you are is paired once with a six-digit code. Find the code on the PC under Settings → Phone & devices.

The QR code does not scan

Type the address shown under the QR code instead. If the camera does not open, allow camera access for Ovis in your phone's settings.

Switching to another PC

Use Change PC in the app to go back to the connect screen, where your saved PCs are listed.
